Question by Steven: What workout could i alternate for yoga x on the p90x dvd?
I am doing p90x and yoga x is pretty challenging and very boring for me. I just need advice on what workout to trade it for. Any answers would help me greatly.

Best workout as an alternative to the full Yoga is Cardio X. It incorporates a little Yoga, with Kenpo & Plyometrics – and it only goes for 45mins.
I used to think that Yoga X was too long; I would get bored about 30 mins into and find myself clock watching because I was so distracted; BUT… I started to learn how to clear my thoughts and mind before starting and now it flies and I absolutely love it.

I totally understand. I’m on my last week of my 90days and it has been hard for me to keep going with the Yoga. The problem is that yoga really has a purpose for being in the program.
It reduces stress and tension, will help you focus, improves strength and muscle tone, improves digestion, improves strength, spine alignment and sleep and more.
The best suggestion that I have is that you split it up and do the first half ,that is the yoga section and the balance postures part either later in the day to break it up or the next week.
There is also a DVD that Tony Horton has put out called Ho Ala ke Kino. It is a 30 min. yoga workout instead of 90. It’s $ 9.95. But you already have a great yoga workout in you hands.
